Get Your Acts Together – Tell The Truth

My question is this: “Is there New Testament evidence we should we be speaking more about truth, and less about “believing” or “beliefs”, when we speak to non-believers?”

I found all these citations where the apostles said they spoke truth, or implied they spoke it – to non-believers – and then they remarked about creating or not creating belief.  They never appeared to use “belief” for persuasive effect with non-believers, only as an observed result.  Should we do the same?

Search Criteria For Best Practices

  • Apostles’ Testimony – not Jesus
  • Evangelizing to non-believers in Jesus or non-believers in God
  • Evangelizing to Jewish or idol worshippers
  • They are NOT talking to believers, which is the case in many of the post-Acts books
  • The time must be after crucifixion, like we face now

Acts appears to be the key book to study – it recites the most frequent interaction between Apostles and non-believers.

Scripture Citations of Support

Acts 17:11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. [12] As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.

Acts 13:12  When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.

Acts 13:12  At Iconium Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue. There they spoke so effectively that a great number of Jews and Greeks believed.

Acts 15:7  After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: “Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.

Acts 19:8-10  Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God. But some of them became obstinate; they refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way.

Acts 28:23  They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying. He witnessed to them from morning till evening, explaining about the kingdom of God, and from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets he tried to persuade them about Jesus. 24 Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.

Romans 10:16  But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”

1 Corinthians 15:11  Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.

Ephesians 1:13  And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 2:13And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe

Reasons for the research

My finding in thousands of political debates was liberals love to engage in belief, opinion, and feelings contests, because they know there is never a winner in such dialogue. “All opinions are equal.” They want a “belief” based world, because their belief is then equal to yours.

Interestingly, in religious or political discussion, liberals were especially anxious to debate beliefs – despite decrying “Conservatives want their beliefs being forced on others.”  They only impugned OTHERS pushing belief.  So I began pointing out their own unconscious, casual use of the word “I believe we should …” in their dialogue.   When I reminded them, they began stumbling all over their words, they had trouble finding a substitute for the words “I believe…”.

Clearly “belief” was casual thought and language to liberal. Comfortable.  They talked as if they were “believers,” as if they were religious – about liberalism.

In my experience, I have also found MORE comfortable discussion with non-believers and liberals about the truth of the Gospels, rather than beliefs.  If you’re not clearly telling someone what is 100% proven as truth, why should they believe you?   You’ll sound like another politician.

I think Christian leadership has unconsciously, gradually, shifted from a truth-based advocacy to a belief based advocacy based on years of gradual pressure of liberals to a terrain on which they can win arguments with Christians:  Belief contests.

I recommend Christians vastly increase the use of TRUTH in their advocacy, not beliefs.  Here is an article on how to establish the truth of the four Gospels:

Objection – Objection Your Honor!!!

An objection I hear is we will be more threatening if we speak of truth – but, non-believers surely don’t seem threatened by Islam, a far more confident and confrontation belief system than Christianity.  So why should Christians be wary of claiming to be truthful?   Christians are criticized MORE than Islam, I never hear any complaints from non-believers about Muslims being too prideful – only excuses for their bad behavior.

So – telling the truth cannot be considered truly threatening.  It’s a fake protest from the people who read fake news.

Second Objection

Many people advocate a relationship-based approach:  Build trust with the person as a secular friend, then convince them of belief when they are struggling with a problem, or ask a question.

Nowhere do I find the scriptures say anything like ‘The apostles developed a close relationship with individuals, then when the chance came, they witnessed how their belief helped them cope with their current conflict they faced.’

There is no advocacy of relationship selling in the New or Old Testament, which I can find.

The finding above suggest Christians should be less focused on belief discussion with non-believers, and more focused on truth-based discussion with non-believers.

Mainly because it looks like the Apostles surely did.

Columbo Inquiry Exposes Government Statistician Liar

A Government employee exhibits awareness of lies, because he threatens to quit if Trump challenges their fake unemployment number:

“My biggest concern right now is about the unemployment statistics, just because the White House has been attacking them, and I know how demoralizing that can be to employees when your statistics are being attacked and when you don’t have anyone at the agency level who can speak up for you and defend you,” Moulton said in a telephone interview last month.”

Did he really say …..

“when your statistics are being attacked”?

“…you don’t have anyone ….who can…defend you”?

“I know how demoralizing that can be to employees when your statistics are being attacked?”

In Atlas Shouts, the research showed the gov’t is OBVIOUSLY lying on GDP, inflation, and unemployment.   And this guy is acting like a liar would act when questioned.

The Next Three Months, What To Expect

  • Success of Black Lives Matter and “White Girl Bleed A Lot” cover-up of black mob crime problem created a permanent “Palestinian” activist group for the democrats. Violence and intimidation will spike, now all the media which was covering up before, will highlight every black mob event.
  • Huge illegal immigration rush at the borders.
  • Markets crash – because of the threat of regulatory sanity returning, and the threat of reduced money printing and increased new import taxes. In a sustained recession credit contraction is the only way out, so the elimination of the unpayable-credit-based economy restores intrinsic, not fake, activity.
  • Obama will reduce federal spending in the next few months, guaranteeing a GDP drop as the last 4 presidential party changes exhibited.
  • The media will blame the “threat of Trump’s radical policies” for the market crash.  The Obama era will be proclaimed “normal economic practices”, Trump’s traditional, widely practiced (in other countries and in the past) policies will be proclaimed radical experiments, especially if they are “best practices’ which always reduce the power of the socialists.
  • Medical stocks crash especially hard, as the gravy train of Obamacare, which addled them with printed money and profits, would be expected to come to an end.
  • Watch to see if Trump returns to discussing sound money, instead of fiat. It will slow the economy more, but will be the most healthy option.  If he does not, we linger in the old FED-based fake debt machine, an easy “socialism lever”which subjugates private commerce.
  • All the bad news of the federal benefits program fiscal insolvency suddenly becomes obvious panic-inducing problems in the media.
  • All our liberal friends who were saying “don’t talk politics” will want to start talking politics again.
  • Some leftist media will try to recover their reputation, apologize, but begin the same behavior. All leftist promises should be considered fake.

The Double Deception of Untaxed Benefits

Realize the damage of untaxed benefits versus taxed benefits:

  • Untaxed federal benefit:  The benefits are distributed with little complaint from the taxpayers not getting the benefits, because they don’t get burdened, and small amounts of “benefits” are steered toward taxpayers by corrupt politicians in order to keep them passive.  These unpayed-for benefits guarantee inflation because they are based on printed money – unbacked, fraudulent credit – then the inflation is easily hidden from the taxpayers by creating a fake inflation claim from the federal gov’t.
  • Taxed federal benefits: The taxpayers are burdened with every dollar of new benefit, and thus begin to complain and investigate where the benefits are going, thus throttling excessive and uneffective benefits. To implement taxed benefits, the US must return ALL benefits programs to the state level where they worked successfully for 150 years without creating debt, and with fantastic wealth creation and middle class creation and the history’s lowest poverty results.

The Age of Mass Lying – Socialism’s End Game

It’s really this bad, folks: In ten years of debate, estimated 10 debates a week, 50 weeks a year – 5000 debates – I could not find one single liberal that would argue honestly.  Thanks to Hillary and Bernie and McConnell, I believe I see people realizing just how big a group of liars the democrats – and many republicans who won’t speak against them – have  become.

  • 4 of the liberals I debated include extremely high IQ brilliant engineers I had worked with, none of whom will speak with me any more as I simply tried to get them to acknowledge the abundance of data that proves the nations’ money policy and mass media is now corrupted using historically proven tactics exactly like Hitler employed, and even Keynes impugned.
  • Zero liberals exhibited any energy or dialogue to discuss national debt repayment, so none of them will ever vote to repay it as long as they are profiting from it.  Which they are.

All liberals I have ever debated willfully and obviously exhibited either brazen lying or obvious tactical evasion of truth – the most damaging form of prevarication according to MLK – when I engaged them in policy discussion.  I discovered their evasion behavior using interrogation tactics I learned years before I discovered this MLK quote:

Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.“- Martin Luther King, Jr.

The finding was so alarming, I devoted 3 chapters of Atlas Shouts to the pattern.

About 20% of proclaimed Republicans exhibited the same behavior.

The Money System End Game

None of the liberals plan on repaying the national debt or electing someone that will repay it. So our money system – if influenced by them, will never be stable or predictable, except in two deadly aspects:

Ain’t But One Way Out, Lord

Because there are more people living on printed money then there are those who are living on earned money.

Because the money printers are more rapidly diluting the money earned – with money printed.  Inflation has proved it.  Gigantic inflation.

And finally, because Republicans don’t follow the Constitution either.

“Ain’t but one way out, Lord.”

You Are The “Navy Seals” of Debate

(This was posted on Facebook, to honor the honest group of friends I have on Facebook.)

The readers here are special, you’ve endured the most unique rules of perhaps any wall on Facebook.

You have willfully chosen to read and participate in fact-based debate, which I moderated to make as much like a “peoples’ court” as possible, to see if facts and truth loving people naturally manifest convergent debate.  They do.

You are unique individuals that are attracted to simple direct reasoning and are able to discern facts of importance from facts of distraction.

You understand tactical stupidity is employed by deceptive debaters.

By sharing in the rigorous thought process, you affirm the consistency and sanity of yourself and everyone else here.

You are Socratic in your thinking, just and fair minded.  By complete surprise, the rules attracted these biased demographics:  nearly all of you are Christian, all are conservative.

I am humbly honored to be friends with all of you.

The wall affirms if you set your conversational manners high, you will be in the company of highly authentic people.

What Happened To The Banks

Bankers are well aware the bank executives are massively beholden to politicians, since they got $400 billion of TARP money, far more than they donate to politicians. And they were delayed prosecution of the trillions of dollars of crime identified in the FCIC report 2010.

They were asked something like this: “Jail time? Or huge bonuses for carrying out political wealth and population redistribution?”

“I’ll choose option two.”

They are not really banks any more, they socialist redistribution and socialist relocation operatives. Section 8 housing money continues to fund them. Loan rules heavily favor democrat voters. Minority hiring rules dominate their payroll.

Obama is moving people around just like Pol Pot did in Cambobia. More than any politician in world history. And the banks are helping fund and coordinate the effort in a huge way.

This is what Obama does when no one is watching. This is why he has so few cabinet meetings, his most ardent efforts are focused on the unseen and the hidden.
